The Grosse Pointe Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies is located near the picturesque shoreline of Lake St. Clair and borders on the City of Detroit. It is in proximity to several of America’s finest educational and cultural institutions featuring extensive libraries, art collections, performing arts groups and renowned experts on all facets of the Medieval and Renaissance periods. 

The Center leverages important regional resources as well as institutions and experts across the United States, Europe and the Middle East. 

We invite you to become an Associate Member of the Grosse Pointe Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies. Your Associate Membership entitles you to participate in engaging activities including seminars, concerts, theatrical performances, site tours, travel study programs and other experiential learning opportunities.

There are few better ways to meet others interested in the pursuit of knowledge about Medieval and Renaissance times than to join the GPCMRS. Although our membership includes scholars and experts, the Center is an inclusive and friendly one; all that's required is enthusiasm for the subject.
